

Carol graduated from the School of Physiotherapy, Newcastle upon Tyne in 1986.She gained her neurological rehabilitation skills while working in a variety of specialised neurological hospitals including: The National Hospital for Neurosurgery and Neurology, The London Hospital, M.S. Rehabilitation centre Sydney and The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre, Salisbury.
Carol is an expert clinical FES practitioner. She gained a wealth of FES knowledge working for eight years at the National Clinical FES Centre in Salisbury as a clinical practitioner, FES tutor, as well as assisting in FES research projects. She continues to be involved in FES research projects.
Clinically she has a tremendous amount of experience in the treatment of walking difficulties including Foot Drop and the more complex walking problems, as well as in the treatment of stroke arm using electrical stimulation.
She is one of the few therapists in the country who is trained and has experience in the Bioness and Walkaide wireless stimulators as well as the full range of Odstock Medical stimulators.
She is a member of the Chartered Society Of Physiotherapy and is registered with the Health Professional Council.
Wendy graduated from the Withington Hospital School of Physiotherapy, Manchester in 1992. Since 1995 she has worked specialising in her skills specifically in Neurological Rehabilitation, treating a wide variety of conditions from the very acute onset to the more chronic stage. She has worked in a number of specialised neurological settings including a Neurological Unit, Regional Neurological Unit, Stroke Unit and Regional Neurological Assessment Ward.
She is a fully qualified practitioner in the use of the wireless Bioness and Walkaide stimulators as well as the full range of Odstock Medical stimulators. She has used FES treatment for many years to assist in the rehabilitation of the arm following a stroke.
She is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with the Health Professional Council.
